this morning I had a lot of coffee so I'm reading poetry and feeling great. I used to think coffee made me angry and miserable, but that was because I hated my job. If you get to sit at a desk reading poetry for money, and your manager is moderately kind, coffee makes you an unkillable reader of books. I also am entertaining a dear friend as a subletter for a month - I wish they would stay longer - coming home to someone I don't have to explain myself to is wonderful.

I started a Mark Beyer fan page for this site recently; I don't consider it fully finished, and I'm not sure how it fits into the layout of the site, like I might need to revamp the CSS and move links around to make it make sense. Someday coffee will unlock these things for me. The most important thing on the fan page is the links to the Internet Archive, where you can read most of the books collecting his comics. I may try scanning his book Agony soon, which isn't on the IA yet. If you aren't familiar with Mark Beyer, please view the page as me trying to convince you that his comics are good and you should try reading them.
